The Juvenile Assessment Center is a centralized assessment and family based case management program. Case managers conduct an extensive assessment to determine the appropriate intervention for the youth. The Juvenile Assessment Center Case Managers work with the youth and their families to develop an individual service plan. The Juvenile Assessment Center serves youth that are alleged to be delinquent or undisciplined or are at-risk of becoming delinquent or undisciplined because they have behavioral problems and have committed delinquent acts although they may not have been taken into the custody of law enforcement or have been petitioned. The JAC staff provide educational activities including Anger
Management, Parenting classes and Youth Enhancement Seminars for youths and
families The Juvenile Assessment Center has been a strong partner with C.C. JCPC as evidenced in part by creating and supporting a database to link all JCPC funded programs, law enforcement offices and the 12th District Court Counselors to needed information concerning youth in the county. For more information please visit our website at http://JuvenileAssessment.org or contact the Director, John Clark at (910)222-6172.
