The Boys & Girls Club of Cumberland County sponsors a variety of
programs uniquely designed for youth that are involved in, or at-risk of
becoming involved, in the juvenile justice system. CORE Beliefs, is a program that provides effective prevention/intervention efforts to decrease the number of
youth that drop out of school and/or become involved in criminal activity. The
clubs emphasize school and behavioral improvement, positive social
activities, positive decision-making, pre-vocational guidance,
structured positive sports and other activities.
The Clubs are located geographically throughout the county, with locations
at Tokay Recreation Center, Myers Park on Rochester Drive in Savoy Heights,
Cumberland Road, and in Spring Lake, N.C.

Director at 484-2636
